A Place of Faith, Community, and Belonging

At Spratt United Methodist Church, we believe church is more than a Sunday service—it is a family of believers walking together through all seasons of life. Our vision is to be “To be a spiritual, growing church, that is a gathering place where all are welcome, committed to helping one another; deepening our faith and doing God’s work in the community and the world.” where all are welcomed, encouraged, and supported as we grow together in our relationship with Christ.

Located in the heart of Lachine, Michigan, our congregation serves individuals and families throughout Alpena County with a message of hope, compassion, and spiritual growth.

Whether you are searching for a church home, visiting the area, or simply exploring your faith, you will find a welcoming community here. Membership is not required to attend service or to participate in Communion. You just need an interest in community and building a closer relationship with Jesus.

We are a traditional United Methodist church that values scripture, prayer, fellowship, and service. Through worship, ministry, and community outreach, we strive to create a place where everyone can feel connected, deepen their faith, and discover opportunities to serve others.

Our doors are open to all, and we invite you to become part of the Spratt United Methodist Church family.

Sunday Worship

Each Sunday at 11:15 AM, our congregation gathers for a meaningful worship service centered on scripture, prayer, and music. Our services reflect the traditional United Methodist style, offering a space for reflection, encouragement, and spiritual renewal.

For those unable to attend in person, our services are also shared through Facebook livestream and are available afterward on YouTube, allowing our wider community in Alpena County and beyond to stay connected.

Life and Ministry at Spratt United Methodist Church

Church life here is active, relational, and deeply rooted in community. Throughout the week and month, members gather for Bible study, fellowship groups, and outreach ministries that strengthen both faith and friendship.

Our congregation participates in children’s ministry, Bible and book study groups, men’s and women’s fellowship groups, and regular seasonal gatherings. These ministries help create a strong sense of belonging and shared purpose.
